Westin LAX (Westin Los Angeles Airport) is a comfortable, even luxurious, hotel centrally located next to LAX Airport. With more than 700 rooms, including 42 suites, it is a large hotel and comes with all the amenities you would expect including a heated swimming pool, fitness facilities, 224-hour room service, restaurants and much more. Among Westin LAX's unusual offerings is a Day Escape Package for guests who want to book in just for a few hours during the day. It is aptly named the Layover Stayover (wink, wink).
Guests with dogs (under 60 lbs) will find a welcoming hotel that offers an aptly named Heavenly Dog Bed. Starwood Preferred Guests get rooms on a special floor at Westin LAX and if they are checking in with kids get a "Westin Kids Club" bag with special goodies.

Westin LAX gets great reviews from guests who stay there. Guests appreciate the convenience of the location which is right next to LAX Airport. Can it be noisy? Yes. The location is central and there are stores and businesses all around, but some guests don't feel safe walking around in the area. Everybody agrees that the room amenities are way better than average. The bedding is outstanding and so are the bath amenities. Breakfast gets good marks.
What do guests complain about? The elevators are said to be less than reliable (that may have been fixed by now), there are charges for Internet access, and charges for parking ($18 for self park, $28 for valet).
